Neglect of Kho Kho Players by the Government

Despite her outstanding achievements on an international stage, Miss Chaitra lamented the lack of recognition and support from the Karnataka state government. While players from other states who participated in the same tournament received cash rewards and government jobs, Chaitra’s efforts have largely gone unnoticed.

"If it was the Cricket World Cup, recognition would have been immediate. It is disappointing that Kho Kho, despite bringing honor to the state, is being ignored,"
