Mysore/Mysuru, January 12, 2025: Future Foundation School, Mysuru, hosted its 8th Annual Day Celebration, ‘Futurites Fiesta 2025,’ with an evening full of knowledge, music, dance, and entertainment. The grand event highlighted the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and cultural heritage, bringing together students, parents, staff, and distinguished guests.

The program commenced with a traditional Bharatanatyam performance, setting the stage for a cultural extravaganza. The inauguration ceremony featured the symbolic act of watering a plant, representing growth, nurturing, and sustainability. The program’s chief guest, Smt. Lakshmi Murthy, Academic Head at BASE PU College, Mysore, inaugurated the event alongside esteemed guests of honor and dignitaries.
In her keynote address, Smt. Lakshmi Murthy inspired the audience with three heartfelt promises for students, parents, and teachers:
Self-Love and Positivity: Students should stand before a mirror, smile, and embrace themselves even on challenging days, affirming their self-worth.
Open Communication: Parents and students should promise to engage in meaningful conversations, fostering mutual understanding.

Inspirational Words from the Guests of Honour
Dr. Sanjay P., Associate Professor at Mysore Medical College & Research Institute, shared nostalgic memories of his school days, expressing gratitude to Mrs. Gowhar and Mrs. Praveena for their encouragement during his formative years. He urged students to value discipline, study diligently, and encouraged parents to motivate their children toward excellence.
Dr. Mohammed Ataulla Shariff, Consultant Neurologist at Narayana Hospital, reminisced about Mrs. Gowhar’s legacy as a mentor. He highlighted the importance of mental and neuro health, emphasizing Vitamin B12’s role, the benefits of home-cooked meals, and the adverse effects of junk food. Dr. Shariff also cautioned about excessive mobile
usage, likening it to severe mental health risks, and urged parents to regulate screen time for their children.
Felicitation of Achievers
Following the guest speeches, the school felicitated its top-performing students from the 2023-2024 batch. Mohammed Faed Nawaz, Mohammed Idrees, and Zainab Junaid were recognized for their academic excellence, motivating their peers to aim high.

- Karnataka Dances: Highlights included Dollu Kunitha, Kamsale, Suggi Dance, and Yakshagana, which captivated the audience.
A delightful skit by UKG students, titled “Cinderella,” brought smiles, while teachers showcased their enthusiasm through a dance performance that energized the crowd. Unique performances like Qawwali and a humorous “Lazy Dance” added charm to the event.
Acknowledging Contributions
The event concluded with a special felicitation for Mr. Habeebulla from Mediagraam, Ink Media Representative, and Mr. Sharath, who trained students for Dollu Kunitha. Their contributions were acknowledged by Mr. Suheem Hussain, Director of Future Foundation School.
