Mysore/Mysuru, December 20, 2024: On the occasion of Crime Prevention and Awareness Month, Udayagiri Police Station, in collaboration with We Care Educational Trust and Mediagraam News, organized a Crime Prevention Awareness Programme at De Paul Public School, Sathagalli, Mysore. The event aimed to educate high school students about various crimes and the importance of staying vigilant.

Sub-Inspector Rupesh of Udayagiri Police Station led an engaging session with the students, covering a wide range of crimes such as robbery, cybercrimes, chain snatching, drug abuse, and child marriages. He also shed light on the dangers of bike wheeling, which has become a growing concern among youngsters. SI Rupesh emphasized that awareness among students could have a ripple effect, enabling them to educate their families and communities.

He also discussed the significance of the toll-free emergency number 112, urging students to remember and use it during emergencies. The interactive session encouraged students to ask questions and share their thoughts, making the session both informative and engaging.
