
In a remarkable display of academic excellence, the Karnataka School Examination and Valuation has released the results of the SSLC Exam-1 for the year 2023-24, showcasing a significant improvement from the previous year. The pass percentage has surged to 73.40%, marking a 30% increase from last year’s results.
Girls continued to outshine boys in the results, with 343,788 girls passing the exam compared to 287,416 boys. Rural students also performed notably well, registering a pass rate of 74.17%, which is 2% higher than their urban counterparts.
Highlighting the achievements, Ankita Basappa from Bagalkot district emerged as the state topper, achieving a perfect score of 625 out of 625. Ankita, a student at Morarji Desai Residential School, is the only student to have scored full marks, setting a new benchmark for future aspirants.
Ankita Basappa has also expressed her ambition to become an IAS officer, showcasing not only her academic prowess but also her aspiration to serve the country.
